Hummingbird Art and Culture Foundation is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use assistive technology.
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA. This covers colour contrast, keyboard navigation, visible focus, semantic heading structure, alternative text for images and support for reduced-motion preferences.
Every page can be navigated by keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link to the main content. Headings follow a logical order. Images carry alternative text. Animation respects the operating system reduced-motion setting.
This site is under active development. Some pages contain placeholder content, and third-party embeds such as maps and video players may not yet meet the same standard. We are working through these.
Where our programs take place in venues we do not own, accessibility is determined by the venue. Each event listing states what we know. If you need specific arrangements, contact us and we will do our best to help.
If you encounter a barrier on this site or at one of our events, please email info@hbartandculture.org. Tell us what happened and what you were trying to do, and we will respond within five working days.
