An ongoing program honoring artists, journalists and community figures whose work enriches cultural life and strengthens understanding between communities.
Recognition as a form of cultural record
Communities remember what they choose to honor. The Foundation’s Certificates of Recognition exist to mark contributions that might otherwise pass without acknowledgement — in the arts, in journalism, and in the work of building understanding across communities.
Each certificate is presented in person, at a public gathering, in front of the community the recipient has served. That setting matters as much as the award itself: it turns individual achievement into a shared occasion, and gives audiences a chance to see their own cultural life reflected back to them.
The program has run since the Foundation’s earliest years and continues today.
Hira Mani
Presented in recognition of her contributions to Pakistani television and drama, and her role as an inspiration for aspiring actors and storytellers.
The certificate was presented at Meet & Greet with Hira Mani, an evening held on Saturday 7 October 2023 at the Holiday Inn Crystal City in Arlington, Virginia. The Foundation presented the evening alongside Stardom Entertainment, NEXT Lifestyle TV and Dar Khan’s Studio, and the certificate closed a programme of live performance, conversation and a question-and-answer session with the actor.
Recognizing a working artist in front of a live audience — rather than at a distance — is central to how the Foundation approaches this program.
Zulfiqar Kazmi
Presented in recognition of his services and scholarly efforts for peace and development, inter-religious cooperation and media accuracy.
The award acknowledged sustained work in a field that rarely attracts public recognition: the patient, unglamorous effort of building dialogue between religious communities and holding media reporting to a standard of accuracy.
The certificate was presented at a Foundation gathering attended by community representatives and guests.

The program has recognized figures from film, television, sport and visual effects — people whose work carries culture across borders and introduces it to new audiences.
Fakhar-e-Alam
Honored for his achievement as the first Pakistani to circumnavigate the globe solo, and for his contribution to the Pakistani film and television industry as an actor, TV host, VJ and singer.
Saqlain Mushtaq
Recognized in appreciation of his contributions to the citizens of the United States and his efforts to promote cricket in America.
Kamran Akmal
Recognized in appreciation of his contributions to the citizens of the United States and his efforts to promote cricket in America.
Naseer Haider Siddiqui
Honored in tribute to his creative achievements in the world of visual effects. Naseer Haider Siddiqui has redefined visual storytelling through his mastery of cinematic artistry, and his work continues to inspire a new generation of artists and filmmakers.
The Foundation recognized him for artistic excellence, international acclaim and his dedication to elevating visual narratives.
